  My mother-in-law decided to visit your Food Pantry yesterday because she's fallen on hard times. This has been her first time visiting a food pantry and she felt unwelcomed, rushed, and dismissed. Apparently, there was a rude man stationed at the front helping to place items into her bags. She only had 1 other person behind her and he kept saying "Come on, let's not make a line" to rush her. My mother-in-law left with a few items, but was embarrassed and felt like a bother to the food pantry. I've worked for many Food Pantries across America as a Volunteer with Americorps and I know that this type of treatment is not the practice of any non-profit organization or church based Food Pantry. I pray that this particular pantry does better and that the man who my mother-in-law encountered finds peace and patience within him. If you ever need help I am more than happy to lend a hand.
